Which areas of Northern California do you cover for weddings and events?
Generally speaking, we like to remain within a four hour drive of Santa Rosa.

Who actually does the filming and editing of my video?
As the owner of Wine Country Films, I do all the filming and editing myself except for when a second cameraman is required. I limit the number of projects that I'm involved in in order to maintain high standards. As my client, you will interact with only me as the project progresses from beginning to finished film.

What sort of equipment do you use?
We use only the latest three chip Sony digital cameras for filming. The editing is done digitally as well, using the latest non-linear software. The finished film is available as an "authored" DVD or on VHS tape.

How do you capture sound at a wedding or event?
The Sony cameras we use are excellent for capturing high-quality stereo sound. When needed, we may use a high quality UHF transmitter and receiver.

How long will my finished video be?
Most wedding and event films are one hour or less. I've found that in order to maintain your audience's interest, it is best to remain within that time frame while insuring that the footage contains all the important shots.

I have many other questions regarding my wedding or event video; how may these questions be addressed?
Everyone is unique in their requirements and concerns for any given film project and of course questions must be answered before a filming is begun and also as it progresses. As the owner, cameraman and editor I am, of course, the person most closely involved in your video and the person most able to answer any concerns you may have. Please contact me at if you have any questions.
